Celebrities are constantly paving the way for styles and appearances that are considered fashionable, and the current 2007 hairstyles are no exception. Jessica Simpson is typically one of the leaders in what hairstyles become popular, and she's been known to change her hair as often as other people change their clothing! Nicole Ritchie, Brittany Murphy, and Jessica Alba have already been spotted wearing shorter, edgier hairstyles that are fast becoming the styling trend of the year.

Luckily for the rest of us (who don't have personal hairstylists following us around to make us look perfect all the time) the 2007 current hairstyles are easy to get and manage on a regular basis. Paris Hilton often sets the stage for what the rest of the world is about to wear, and her natural hair is cut to a fairly short length, and full of texture thanks to several different layers. To mimic her look, you'll want to add volume to the roots of your hair and blow-dry the cap of your hair upside down. This will lift your roots- then just let the rest of your hair fall naturally around your face. Whatever length you prefer to keep your hair, be sure that you have it cut to include face framing layers, and if it's wavy or curly- don't straighten it! With the right cut, you can wash at night and run your fingers through in the morning as your entire hair beauty routine!

Most commonly seen hairstyles on celebrities will involve waves and loose curls. Very fashionable this year is naturally bouncy hair, and the fastest way to be out of style is to keep your dated, straight as an arrow hairstyle from the previous years! Any length of hair is in this year, but the favorite 2007 current hairstyles will be those that allow your hair to move freely, and look like you didn't spend hours styling it.

New 2007 Hairstyles Revealed

" Now YOU Can Learn How To Cut & Style Hair Easily In 2 Hours or Less... With The Ultimate Home Hairdressing Course "

Are you fashionably prepared and wearing one of the new 2007 Hairstyles? 2007 unfolds, many new hairstyles are making their appearance by fashion trendsetters and celebrities- if you haven?t evaluated your own look yet, now is the time!

The time has come to trade in your flat irons and straightening hair products for hair that?s been carefully cut to look like it?s an effortless style, full of movement and irregular lengths, waves and a perfect blending of colors. If your hairstyle doesn?t move naturally, look and feel soft and speak volumes (literally!) - your hairstyle is out of style. The new 2007 hairstyle reveals that there is more to style than a specific length or color of hair.

In order to get the fashionable hair of the year, you?ll want to allow naturally wavy hair to wave freely with a nicely shaped cut that frames your face and consists of several different lengths and textures. Tone down tightly curled hair that was popular in the 80?s with large rollers or curling iron, creating subtle curls and waves of varying lengths. Shorter hairstyles can get a boost of volume with styling products used at the top of the head, and cutting hair to taper softly around the neck for less volume through to the tips of your hair.

While no specific color will take over the latest hairstyles, there will be an increase in the skillful mixing of colors for a blended, natural effect. You?ll notice blondes with light, metallic hair tips to brighten the look of their faces and add volume to their locks, while redheads will blend orange and chestnut tones to create a passionate look. Above all, the new 2007 hairstyle trend will involve natural looking, soft and touchable hair.

2007 Hairstyle Trends - Insider Survey Revealed

" Now YOU Can Learn How To Cut & Style Hair Easily In 2 Hours or Less... With The Ultimate Home Hairdressing Course "

AG Hair Cosmetics runs routine surveys with a few hundred hairstylists to predict upcoming trends for hair. Looks like their predictions for 2007 hairstyle trends were pretty well spot on!

The most popular 2007 hairstyle trend to hit the runways and heads of celebrities is shaping up to be short cuts loaded with volume and "controlled messiness". This look transcends all age groups, and can look flattering on any woman. Slight variations make the style acceptable and fashionable for men, as well. You might think of it as the one size fits all approach to hairstyles!

Ellen Degeneres, Meg Ryan, and Hillary Clinton have already been seen wearing variations of the short and messy hairdo. This year will probably see the ladies adding more layers and volume to the roots of their hair, letting bangs fall over foreheads in a wispy- and slightly too long look that translates into a sexy framing of the face. If you just can't part with your long hair, remember to get rid of the super-straight locks that were popular last year. Adding a simple wave or loose curls will give you the fashionable look of the year.

The popular 2007 hairstyle trend for men is a simple to maintain, shaggy look. A good way to achieve this look is to have hair cut and textured into a short length. Wash and style hair before going to bed at night, and when you wake up simply run your fingers through and you're ready to go! It's the look that all fashionable men will be wearing for this year. In fact, if you want to take it a step further, men can add some warmer hair tones to their natural hair color.

While you don't want your hair to look or feel dirty, it's important to note that the current look of "controlled messiness" is managed better if your hair isn't washed every single day. Just-washed hair will also not hold as much volume as second-day washed hair, so keep that in mind and consider switching to an evening shower routine so you can keep up with the newest 2007 hairstyle trend.

Spring 2007 Hairstyles - How To Get The Waves

" Now YOU Can Learn How To Cut & Style Hair Easily In 2 Hours or Less... With The Ultimate Home Hairdressing Course "

Hairdressing training dvds

Question: What are the Spring 2007 hairstyles? Answer: Lot of waves. Short or long, you've gotta go for the wavy look. But a permed waves approach isn't cutting it like it used to! A carefree, more natural look is the way to go for a Spring hairstyle in 2007. Now, if you don't have a natural wave to your hair, and perming is ruled out, what's a girl meant to do?

Don't worry, here are some tips:

First of all, is the use of sea water spray. You can either buy these, or make your own from home. Just get some sea salt when you next do your grocery shopping and add it to a spray bottle of water.

Using this type of spray will bring out a wavy look in your hair even if it's normally straight. Jessica Simpson's wavy look is one that is good to try and copy using this technique.

Here are some styling steps to get the sea water wavy look for Spring 2007 hairstyles (Adapted from article on Beauty-and-the-bath.com):

1. Wash your hair with appropriate products for your type of hair:

2. Dry hair with a towel and spray hair roots with a volumizing product like Phyto Phytovolume Actif Maximizing Volume Spray - Fine Limp Hair; Note: Work a straightening balm through hair if your hair is naturally curly or course;

3. Next blow dry your hair straight, starting at the roots to achieve extra volume. Note: Hair must be fully dry for this style to work. Now blow cold air on the roots to add volume.

4. The next step is to separate the hair into three sections, and secure with a ponytail holder.

5. Now curl hair with a 1-inch barrel curling iron. Start with one section, and take an inch portion of hair and wrap it around the barrel of the curling iron. When you are curling, make sure to leave ends loose;

6. Release the curl after 5 or 10 seconds, holding it longer if you want a tighter curl. So you should be left with a corkscrew curl;

7. Roll and pin the curl onto your scalp. Alternate the direction of the curl as you work your way through each section. Alternating directions will make your curls appear more natural.

8. Once the pinned curls have cooled down, release them;

9. Blow-dry your locks on a low, cool setting to gently loosen the waves. Alternatively, you can opt to separate the curls with your fingers;

10. Nearly finished! Now carefully spritz your locks with saltwater spray.

11. Mist with hairspray for hold.

Whether you have long, shoulder length or short hair, the above process should help you take on a trendy Spring 2007 hairstyle! We recommend before you go to these lengths to change the look of your hair, you first check out what it will look like on your own photo. How? See below.

Hairstyles for Fine Hair in 2007

" Now YOU Can Learn How To Cut & Style Hair Easily In 2 Hours or Less... With The Ultimate Home Hairdressing Course "

Hairdressing training dvds

If you're having trouble finding great hairstyles for fine hair you're not alone! It can certainly be a bit of a challenge at times, but here are some tips to help you, and give you some guidance about what fine hair hairstyles are happening in 2007.

One thing that fine hair usually lacks is body, but the solution is a good, layered cut, as in some of the new pixie styles, which will add some body to fine hair. Layers add movement and this should make your hair flow. Movement minimizes the flat look that most women try to avoid.

Textured styles are good if you have fine hair, and most good stylists will have custom made texturing scissors to do this. Don't over blow dry fine hair it is all too easy to get split ends this way which will detract from the look you're trying to achieve.

With all the salon advice on TV and in the press you should be well aware by now that the use of a good product is an essential part of the process. Most professionals will tell you that a good hairstyle for fine hair relies on a boost from the right range of products. Volumizing shampoo can help, and volumizing mousse particularly is a must if you are to achieve a style that has bounce. But be careful with conditioner, too much and it can weigh down fine hair.

The new styles where the hair is cut shorter at the back and longer at the sides is a good style to try for fine hair. Victoria Beckham has adopted this type of crop and it really does give her hair some bounce. This style effectively adds movement to the hair and the texturing at the back adds the body your hair needs.

If you don't want your hair cropped then you might consider adding extra fullness with hair extensions. If you decide to do this then make sure that the hair used for the extensions is not too heavy, heavy hair extensions can pull on the roots of fine hair, making it thinner once the extensions are removed. Finally, take a look around the internet and you will find plenty of pictures of hairstyles for fine hair. We recommend the resource below, which enables you to "try on" lots of different hairstyles on your own photo, so you can quickly and easily see what works best for your fine hair! You can even print out the image of the hairstyle you prefer and take it to your hair stylist.
